Year 2 have been busy searching for the perfect pet. They have improved their writing skills whilst writing an information page all about dogs. Next week we will be writing instructions on how to be the perfect pet! The children have also developed their coding skills. They have create projects on the Ipads where they have shown that they can control how their characters or object move using inputs, show and hide objects, add text strings and record sounds and control when they are heard and how long for. Keep up the hard work Year 2!

They used co-ordinates to help them remember where they’d buried their expensive, golden treasure from the pesky pirates. The children were encouraged to use their knowledge of pirates and beach settings to add important landmarks onto their maps too. Thank you to all of the parents that joined us on Monday afternoon. The children had great fun! Ahoy Mates!

Year 2 took up the challenge of becoming fairy tale solicitors and have tried to solve this dreadful crime that has taken place in the forest. Is he guilty or not guilty?
Thank you to all the families that came to support Year 2 in their sports day! The children had a fantastic morning and I think you’ll agree they did amazingly well. It was great to see so many parents getting involved in the races too, the children loved watching you!
