Year 4 have been getting hot under the collar this week. We intercepted a message from the trapped scientists and discovered that they thought that we had lost interest in them because they had not heard from us for so long. We had to convince them that we were the right people for the job. We wrote them letters to persuade them that our rescue service was the best for the job. Next week we will be designing and making rescue machines with a winding mechanism to lift injured scientists up into the rescue helicopters.
We have also been chatting to our pupils about the online services that they use at home and how they stay safe online. We have talked about the Pegi rating systems on games and why they are important. Pupils were very honest and did admit that they had been accessing games that had 18 and 16 ratings.
CEOP produce a range of materials to help you as parents make the right choice for your child and keep them safe online.
