We started our day discussing what a good team looked like and creating our very own success criteria for teamwork. In maths, we learnt a new skill which was measuring perimeter of shapes and we were able to apply this skill outside on the playground.
We also put our creative skills to the test out in forest school when we used natural materials to make a bird’s nest. We had to make sure it was stable enough to hold a small bird.
We ended our fantastic outdoor learning with the Paris Landmark Challenge!!! The children were given only newspaper and masking tape to try and create a famous Parisian landmark. All the children worked well together and we had some great creations. Well done Year 3 on an excellent day of learning in a different environment.
